Workbrutes® PVC overshoes by Tingley have thicker and deeper cleats for better grip and longer wear. Injection molded Workbrutes PVC overshoes have 46 percent more material in their outsole than the nearest slush molded competitor. Tingley’s Frigiflex® PVC compound contains special additives for high stretch and flexibility in cold temperatures.
Workbrutes are injection molded, with seamless construction for 100% waterproof protection, this process allows for less material in the upper eliminating unnecessary weight, for reduced leg fatigue. For longer life, more material is added to the sole at the greatest wear points: the heel, toe and cleats. Workbrutes’ thicker treads have deeper cleats with sharper edges to spit out debris and provide excellent traction. Key interior entry points are specially textured to allow overshoes to easily slip on and off over rubber sole shoes. Boots feature no pinch molded in button and two button holes for better fit and protection as well as a heavy duty heel kick off for easy off.
Workbrutes are ideal for food processing, construction, general industry, transportation, and hazardous waste cleanup and provide resistance to some exposure to fats, certain acids, hydrocarbons, and caustics. They are not recommended for use in ketones, aldehydes, and many solvents.
