Ventis™ MX4 Multi-Gas Monitors

The Ventis MX4 gas detector is Industrial Scientific’s top selling budget 4-gas monitor. For as little as $695, the MX4 offers multi-gas protection in single-gas size enabling true portability. Available with one to four gas options, ISSC sell this detector in many different configurations, but its most popular is the four gas Oxygen (O2), Combustible Gas (LEL), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S). One of the best benefits on the MX4 is the Broad sensor measuring ranges for carbon monoxide to 1000 ppm, hydrogen sulfide to 500 ppm, nitrogen dioxide to 150 ppm and sulfur dioxide to 150 ppm which provides the ability to see changes in hazardous conditions beyond normal monitoring ranges

The Ventis MX4 with integrated sample-draw operation can be carried for continuous monitoring or be used with the integrated sampling pump for sample-draw applications such as confined space entry testing. Being IP66/67 certified, means the MX4 with the overmolded composite construction has a rugged design providing exceptional durability in severe, exceptionally dusty and wet applications.

With three battery packs to choose from, lithium-ion, lithium-ion extended range, and alkaline, the Ventis provides power flexibility. Rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs offer day-to-day use for up to 12 hours continuously or the rechargeable lithium-ion extended range battery packs offer use for up to 20 hours without the pump.

ISC’s datalogging for this gas monitor is best in class, offering on-board continuous datalogging which allows the user to store a minimum of three months of sensor data allowing for routine review of gas exposures, revealing areas of safety concern and potential improvement.

With its 95 dB alarm, strong vibrating alarm combined with an ultra bright visual, the MX4 provides multiple clear warnings in difficult environments.

The programmable bump test mode and calibration overdue alarm prompts Ventis users to bump test instrument on a regular basis and prompts user and prevents normal use if instrument has not been calibrated within the prescribed timeframe.

The monitors carry lifetime warranty and are fully compatible with DS2 Docking Station and iNet™ Instrument Network sensor warranty varies with each sensor.
